Description of the Nice holiday apartment - 1 Bedroom, double bed, living room, kitchen, bathroom, view on the Alps

Small scale, British owned and managed apartment in the antique area in the port of Nice, France.
You can be assured of a personal and friendly approach.
The apartment is in an ideal position for cheap bus transport from Cannes to Monaco and the ferry can take you to Corsica, Sardinia and Saint Tropez.
The train trip to Italy takes half an hour.
There are many restaurants, shops and cafes close by and its only about 3 minutes from the Old Town (Vieux Nice).
The new tramway system is 2 minutes away on Place Garibaldi. The Mediterranean Sea (beach) is 5 minutes away.
Our apartment is on the 7th and top floor and reached by an elevator; as a consequence it is very quiet and safe.
The views from three windows includes the city of Nice, the mountains surrounding the city and, on a clear day, the snow tops of the Alps.
This bright apartment's kitchen has a table and chairs, a refrigerator, gas hob and a portable electric oven.
We look forward to welcoming you to the flat and will be available when you need us.

When you arrive in the apartment, you will find a nice bottle of rosé (Côtes de Provence) in the fridge. Feel free to open the bottle and enjoy it! You do not need to replace it! Welcome to Nice!

• Breakages: I require a refundable breakages deposit of 200 euros. This is due on the day of arrival. Any damages and extra cleaning costs will be deducted from this. Refundable on departure less any damages caused.

Lovely bright, comfortable flat with amazing views. Great location and lovely helpful, relaxed owners.
Its so close to the best bits of Nice, being situated between the Port and the Old Town, and easy to access stations and trams for getting to surrounding areas.
Less than half an hour on the bus from the airport too which is a bonus.
Highly recommended!

Absolutely brilliant, this vacation home rental, we will definitely return. It is located in a brilliant area, where walks are a must do, and it manages to still incorporate the traditional French life.

In the middle of November this resort was lovely and warm and beautiful views. We were only there for 3 days and found plenty to do. Beware - it is a pebble beach. There is a lot of nice cafes under the promenade at the beach.
I would recommend walking up the harbour as it is a very nice area, and the flat is lovely too.

Great vacation apartment! Getting around Nice and the surrounding area is so easy. For just one euro we were able to travel anyway on the excellent air conditioned coaches. We went to Monaco for the day and this was so special and luxurious. Nice itself is split in two between the old city and the new city. The old is full of historic sites which we were able to see on the frequent tour bus, which I recommend. The new town
is more lively with some excellent and friendly places to eat. Jack and Jean are great hosts and Jack is an excellent chef!
